Establishment of GI Surgery, Superspeciality in the state:

• Presently, Medical Director, Siddhanta Red Cross Superspeciality Hospital, Bhopal, one of the best superspeciality Hospital in Central India.
• Established the first superspeciality hospital in M.P. on PPP model (with M P State Branch Indian Red Cross Society.
• Prof and Head G I Surgery Department, J K Hospital and LN Medical College, Bhopal
• Former Prof and Head G I Surgery Department, Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Re-search Centre, Bhopal
• Pioneer in Radiofrequency Ablation of tumour in India. First to start this service in India. Today this is well established procedure in the country.
• Returned to India to set up the first G.I Surgery department of the MP State in 2000 at Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre. It is the first, best and largest su-per specialty hospital of central India.
• Instrumental in establishing BMHRC at National level 2001 onwards.
• Established the first DNB Superspeciality course in G.I Surgery of the MP state at BMHRC, Bhopal.
• Established the first Laparoscopic fellowship of the state at BMHRC.
• First to establish Endoscopic Ultrasound and G.I Physiology lab in Central India.
• Performed 1st Liver Transplant of Central India.

Secretary of MP Chapter of Indian Society of Gastroenterology.

As Researcher:

He is Principal Investigator and co-investigator to many molecular research projects on Hepatitis B and C, carcinogenesis, tuberculosis and Pancreatitis. Has received many research grants. Research papers have been presented and publish Internationally.

He has significantly contributed at National and International level, in better understanding the epidemiology, molecular diagnostics and characteristics. and mutations in field of Gastrointestinal cancers, Hepatitis B and C, Tuberculosis and carcinogenesis of MIC. 

As Social Worker:

Established one of the state of art super speciality hospital, having all latest technologies and facilities providing best facilities to all sections of society in an affordable rate, fulfilling the aim of treating the poor sections also.

Active Rotarian and Mason (Masonic Lodge). Actively involved in social services. Past Secretary of Rotary club and President elect of Rotary club. Past Worshipful Master of Masonic lodge.

Every year charity worth lakhs of rupees through Rotary club and Masonic lodge.

Himself a Gas Victim has opted to serve the gas victims by serving at Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre, Bhopal, where he is Head of GI Surgery and Clinical Nutrition. He is actively involved in social work and social cause of the society.

Since college days associated with social and charitable organizations like Rotary club, Rotract Club, etc. Actively participated and organized many medical camps and other charitable projects for the poor section of the society.
